About Me
Hi! My name is Adam Nesmith! Here is a bit about me: I got my bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering, have a Master’s Degree focused on Data Analytics, and plan on pursing a PhD in either Data Science or Operations Research. I ascribe to the Westminster Standards as a summary of what I believe Scripture teaches. Like most people, I work a 9 to 5 during the week.
I am married to my amazing wife Abby, we have a Siberian cat name Dimitri, and we have two adorable little boys. We live in a beautiful, almost 100 year old house in Ohio. I love cooking, reading, and music.
But more than that, I love the local Church.
During college, the local Church was my family.
The local Church was where I met my wife.
The local Church is where I spent and spend countless hours worshiping and fellowshipping with other believers.
Though I enjoy my full time job, my passion is for my Church. I love thinking up ways to help its ministry and equip the saints who gather there. This blog is to serve that desire.
The goal of this website is simply to give you my ideas, thoughts, and tools for use in the local Church.
Some may be helpful for you. Others, maybe not.
But if you are as passionate as I am for normal Church members involving themselves in the life of the local Church, welcome to The Average Churchman.
